<p>A nível nacional a abrótea é um peixe pouco valorizado, mas nesta zona de Porto Covo foi sempre bastante apreciado e consumido. É um peixe com o qual gostamos de trabalhar. Na nossa cozinha, além de escalfar, também curamos a abrótea. E utilizamos as várias partes: pele, fígados e cabeça.</p>

<p>O Tejo deu a fataça (tainha, peixe-do-rio). De Alcobaça veio malhado (porco). Rodrigo Castelo agarrou num e noutro e celebrou um inesperado, mas muito feliz casamento.</p>
