Discover São Miguel with this unique program, which brings together landscapes and memorable flavors. The day starts at the vegetable garden where we’ll pick the vegetables for lunch. Then we head to Furnas to taste some yummy bread cooked in the hot volcanic ground. Next stop is at the pier in Porto Formoso, where we set sail to a tour of the island’s fabulous north coast. Coming ashore Chef Cláudio Pontes will be preparing a fresh, local and tasty lunch.
Visit to Bio Kairos farm for selection of vegetables to be used in the lunch preparation. Experience the volcanic and geothermal tour to collect the volcanic bread that has 13 hours of cooking under the soil.In the port of Porto Formoso begins a boat trip to enjoy the imposing cliffs.With the fish caught during the early hours and with the vegetables selected from the farm, Chef Cláudio Pontes prepares a menu of local flavors.
